The Trick or Treat Troop.

Well since we are almost never with out drama, here is the Halloween story for 2010. The week was going to be great. School party and parade, piano recital in costume and Trick or Treat. We made it to the Trick or Treat part only, but that's the best part anyway right? Unfortunately for Lib she caught some kind of cold or virus and ended up with an extremely high fever. (like 104.3!) She had to miss school on party day to go in to the clinic for IV antibiotics. Not her regular monthly one, but a different one. And much to our chagrin, she had an allergic reaction, you know, the my throat is closing kind that we know all to well. My poor little girl is just so sensitive to medications! Thank goodness she was still accessed and could have IV Benedryl, otherwise she would have had her first experience with an epi-pen. She also had to miss her piano recital. BUT she rested Saturday and was able to go out and Trick or Treat! YAY! She had a blast.
